At Christian Assembly, we feel that it's OUR responsibility to make you feel welcome when you come to our church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Christian Assembly. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. How do I get there? What should I wear? What's available for my kids? What should I expect in church?

Here is a quick look at what you can expect when you come to visit our church.

A WARM WELCOME!  At Christian Assembly, we'll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it. Whether you need childcare or are looking for a place for your children, a greeter will be nearby to help you get where you need to go.

GREAT MUSIC!  Our 10:00am service  includes upbeat contemporary music with a worship team and a worship band.  The services may also include quiet times of waiting in God’s presence, spiritually savoring the sacred atmosphere.  Other times may be vocal with collective praise as worshippers are invited to spontaneously express love and adoration to God through vibrant and vocal praise, clapping, uplifting of hands and singing.  Worship styles will reflect the spectrum of personalities. Some are quiet and reserved; some shout with joy; others are simply tender and openly emotional during times of praise or preaching.  No sincere worshipper need feel out of place in an Assemblies of God church. And each expression will blend without disruption into the flow of worship.

AN ENCOURAGING MESSAGE!  Each week you'll enjoy an encouraging and passionate message that will help you deal with real life issues. We'll even give you a helpful outline with the Bible passages. What you learn on the weekend, you'll be able to use during the week. We want to help you connect with the personal hope and practical help that God can give us.  The offering is for those who are part of the Christian Assembly family. Instead of wanting you to give something, we want you to get something!

ALTAR CALL!  Usually at the end of each service there is an opportunity for you to respond to the message by going up to the front of the church.  This is called and altar call.  At the altar, the Pastor and Leadership will pray for you and with you by laying hands on you.  We believe in the importance of responding to the message and allowing the Holy Spirit to touch your heart and life.  If you have yet to give your life to Christ, this is a time in which you can come up front and give your heart to Jesus.  Incredible things happen at the altars.

CASUAL DRESS!  We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress casually and you'll fit right in. People come in jeans and flip flops and others come in suits.  Most people where slacks and a nice shirt.  The pastors and deacons usually wear dress pants/Jeans and a dress shirt, no ties.  Come just as you are, and you will fit right in.

SAFE CHILDCARE!  We know that as a parent you need be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn. We've invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached. There are screened, qualified, children's workers that are excited to work with your kids.  We have programs and ministries for children ages 0 - 18 years which include Nursery during all services for children ages 0 - 2.9.

CHILDREN'S SERVICE & BIBLE CLASSES!  Each Sunday morning we provide a full children's service where children worship God with great, fun, children's songs, they hear a illustrated message and then are dismissed into age appropriate classes to learn God's Word on their level.  We have committed teachers that prepare a Bible lesson for your child each week.  After class, the kids usually break out into games and fun.  Your kids will enjoy it!  Children go directly to the function hall where we offer a full children's service at the beginning of each service.

COMMUNION!
Every first Sunday of the month we have communion.  Communion is a practice that is meant to be observed over and over throughout the life of a Christian. It is a holy time of worship when we corporately come together as one body to remember and celebrate what Christ did for us.  We do not use wine.  We use grape juice and matzos.

BAPTISMS!
Once a quarter we hold water baptisms on Sunday Morning.  In the New Testament, the significance of baptism is seen more clearly. John the Baptist was sent by God to spread the news of the coming Messiah-Jesus Christ. John was directed by God (John 1:33) to baptize those who accepted his message. John’s baptizing is called “a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.” Mark 1:4
